Established in 1838, inside the Boyer d'Eguilles mansion, Aix-en-Provence's Natural History Museum promotes plenty of research activities each year, while enlarging its collections and raising awareness of fauna and flora amongst the young with educational activities and workshops all year round.
The collection includes over 670,000 objects (mineralogy, petrology, ornithology, malacology, herbarium) and a remarkable collection of eggs and pieces of dinosaur skeletons.
