The Vignobles & Découvertes label aims to provide quality services and visits catering to wine tourism. The label appeals to a customer base that appreciates the world of wine without necessarily being connoisseurs, and offers a range of quality services: accommodation, cultural sites, leisure activities, cellar tours, restaurants, exploration of natural spaces, events and more.
Four destinations in Rhone Valley have been awarded the label: Autour des Dentelles de Montmirail, Condrieu, Côte Rôtie, Rhône Crussol and D'Hermitage en Saint-Joseph.
Situated at the heart of the Rhone Valley along with the Côtes du Rhône Septentrionales, the D’Hermitage en Saint-Joseph destination is easily accessible by road and train. The Rhone, which is the the link between the Drôme and Ardèche regions, connects the Pays de l’Hermitage to Tournonais.
The three appellations in this region are renowned for their quality: Hermitage, Crozes Hermitage and Saint-Joseph. Visitors can savour these wines on one of the many balconies and terraced vineyards.
Professionals who are a part of the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label present high-quality services where authenticity and the sharing of knowledge are priorities.
The destination offers a selection of 16 cellars providing tastings and discovery visits, 18 accommodation options, 11 restaurants, as well as tourist sites such as the Château de Tournon and Erik Borja’s Zen Garden, plus with a wealth of events and activities.
